FIPP Rising Stars in Media
Unlike other awards, FIPP’s Rising Stars in Media is not about finding the best in class in any particular category. We want to uncover those bright stars, across any discipline, under the age of 30 that are the "ones to watch".
From this, FIPP will create a 'Rising Stars List' which will distinguish people who work in the industry - whether this is a full-time/part-time employee or a freelancer - and who in the past 12 months have proved an to deliver above and beyond what was expected, and will share their initiatives, success stories and profiles with the global media community.
Who can enter?
FIPP’s Rising Stars in Media is not limited to any particular discipline, so anyone under the age of 30 can enter, regardless of which area of the magazine media business they work in, whether they are employed by the company, a freelancer or a media entrepreneur having a positive impact on your company.
Nominees must be 30 or under on 10 May 2016, and demonstrate that they have made a significant contribution in the past 12 months.
Individuals and/or direct managers can submit entries. If entries are submitted by the individual/freelancer they must be authorised and endorsed by a member of the management team. Nominations can also be put forward directly by managers of rising stars.
Nominees do not have to be a member of FIPP to enter.
All you have to do is download and complete the write-in Entry Form and email to Christine and Jenny.
Entries are open and submissions will be received until 29 February.
What do winners get?
The top three winners will be flown to London and will attend FIPP London event taking place on 10-11 May at the contemporary Novotel London West (accommodation included). Read more about this exciting new initiative from FIPP incorporating four exciting events in one London venue over two days.
FIPP is pleased to announce that UPM will be supporting FIPP again in discovering young talent within the magazine media industry.
