Andréa Mallard is a Senior Brand Strategist at IDEO. She has lead or contributed to projects for clients including Del Monte, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle, Estée Lauder, General Motors, and Lincoln Financial. She focuses on building exciting new businesses with robust brand personalities to match.

Prior to IDEO, Andréa spent 10 years in the media industry, bridging the gap between the editorial and strategic side of the aisle. Most recently, she helped sculpt the business rationale and creative vision for several successful media brands with Rodale in NYC (including print, online, and extensions). She also spent five years in London with Forbes Magazine, helping launch their international edition and building a new lifestyle magazine for the European market, as well as year with Forbes.com in the Silicon Valley. She has also worked at various foreign bureaus of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as an on-air television and radio broadcaster. She has been a guest lecturer in brand strategy & media at NYU, Stanford and Drake University. As IDEO's key spokesperson on media-related issues, she has also been invited to speak on media and innovation at the annual International Magazine Publishing & Media
Seminars at Stanford University.

Andréa has earned a Master of Science in Media from the London School of Economics in the UK and a Bachelor of English Literature and a Bachelor of Politics, both from Queen's University in Canada.
